THE SHIELD XIII COUNT THE (pente)COST

Pentecost (Shavu’ot/Feast of Weeks) was a great harvest festival of the Jews, 50 days (pente+cost) after Passover. That is significant due to the great harvest of souls on the specific day of Pentecost we remember…when the Holy Spirit was given from God to indwell the church. That was really the start proper of the New Testament church.
The blessedness of the infilling of the Holy Spirit did not initially come upon the ones outside who were observing the festival. It were the ones inside, separated unto God, upon whom the Spirit fell. From the inside and upper room the blessing was then poured out upon the ones outside, unto salvation.

What is the value to humanity of what transpired on that day? COUNT THE COST. It is immeasurable.
What is the price paid by an individual life when the Spirit comes to abide within? COUNT THE COST. It is absolute.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].2 Corinthians 3:17 AMP
When He came, He came as Lord - the Boss of the Church. When He comes into your life, it is to be Lord. He comes to have complete dominion, but He brings true freedom. LIBERTY!
…because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Romans 8:21 KJV
